Had a little insomnia last night and caught the Drive By Truckers song "Everybody Needs Love" on Letterman. The tune has been in my head all day - not mindblowing, but catchy as hell. I remember walking by these guys at Bonnaroo one year and they were raucus and loud, so the popiness of this song may not be representative.

ReplyDeletei've heard this on the radio a few times. almost sounds like something else doesn't it? that refrain? maybe that's the hallmark of a catchy tune, it sounds like you have already heard it before even when you haven't.
